Day 2

Day 2 started off with a visit from Post Oak parent and banking expert, Mr. Manolo Sánchez. Mr. Sanchez gave us "a birds eye view on banking", addressing topics like the recession of 2008 and how it fueled a bipartisan hatred for bankers, how digital programs like PayPal are slowly putting banks out of business, and how the digital revolution killed countless companies (including Toys R' Us).

After that, students gave presentations on money and liquidity, income and assets, and liability and expenses. In the afternoon, we seminar'd on chapters from The Richest Man in Babylon and Dave Ramses's The Complete Guide to Money. We then watched the first half of Wall Street, a brand new, not at all famous, G-rated film.
